This Refund Policy explains how and when you get your money back for purchases made on mercatogoods.com, operated by Mercato Goods.
1. When a refund applies
- Cancellation before shipment: we refund the full amount paid, including shipping. See our Cancellation Policy.
- Change-of-mind return: we refund the price paid for the product once we receive and inspect it. The cost of shipping it back is your responsibility. See our Returns Policy.
- Damaged, defective, incorrect or incomplete product: if you choose a refund instead of a replacement, we refund the amount paid for that product, including its shipping, without prejudice to any compensation (bonificación) that may apply under Mexico's Federal Consumer Protection Law.
- Lost order: if your package is confirmed lost and you choose a refund, we refund the amount paid. See our Shipping Policy.
2. Refund method
Refunds are made to the same payment method you used for your purchase, in accordance with Article 92 of the Federal Consumer Protection Law. We can only use a different method if you expressly accept it at the time of the refund.
3. Timelines
We will issue the refund no later than 15 calendar days after approving it, and we will let you know by email when we do. How long it takes to appear on your statement depends on your bank or card issuer, and is usually an additional 5 to 10 business days.
4. Partial refunds
If an order includes several products and only one is cancelled, returned or has a problem, the refund covers only that product.

6. Your rights
This policy does not limit your rights under Mexico's Federal Consumer Protection Law. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact Mexico's Federal Consumer Protection Agency (PROFECO).
